Try connecting again
You can try to connect to your home network again if, for some reason,
Network Magic does not detect the correct network settings and considers
your network unknown (that is, as if your computer
has connected to another network).
- Under To Reconnect
to Your Home Network, click Try
Connecting Again.
This can occur in special situations when Network Magic detects a change
in your network. Examples of when this might happen include the following:
- There was a connection problem that you have fixed.
The following are examples:
You have plugged in an Ethernet
cable that was unplugged.
You have power cycled your router. For steps, see Power
cycle your router.
You have accidentally connected to another wireless (Wi-Fi)
network, and want to connect to your home network again.
- If you replace
the router in your network and then open Network Magic, you might not
connect to your network the first time you try. However, if you restart
your computer and try connecting to your network again, Network Magic can
detect the correct settings and resume networking normally.
